Please, join us for a leisurely Saturday morning shawl class. Together we will demystify the mumbo jumbo of knitting pattern abreviations and create a lush and colorful fabric that you will love to wrap yourself up in, or to give as a gift? Coralie Springs is a beautiful asymmetric, shawlette. Perfect for For the adventerous beginner. Basic knitting skills are required: Cast On, Knit stitch, Purl stitch, Bind Off. In this class you will learn: K2tog - Knit 2 togeather decrease, SSK, S2KP, S1KP, slipped stitcthes, yarn over increase, I cord edging, and how to weave in your colorchanges as you knit. This class is an excellent next stepping stone to build your knitting skills!

This project is perfect for Malabrigo Mechita Fingering yarn. Or use any of our lovely Fingering weight yarns in the shop? We have some Mini Skeins by Emma’s Yarn to coose from.
Size US 5/ 4 mm 24” to 32” circular needles.

NOTE: Materials for class must be purchased at the Altered Stitch. PLEASE come early to pick your materials and have them wound before class begins. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
