Magic No Gauge Socks is an excellent next step in your sock knitting adventures. In this class you will learn how to knit socks from the toe up, magic loop method, using circular needles. The pattern is inclusive of DK & Fingering or Sport weight yarn, even worsted if you wish? However, we suggest beginning with DK yarn and US 3 needles for first time sock knitters, for ease of handling. This class will teach: Turkish cast on, toe up construction, knitting in the round, short row heel, changing colors, ribbing, the anatomy of the sock and how to knit it. Basic knitting skills are required: Must know how to cast on, knit stitch, & purl stitch.
The class is taught in four 2-hour sessions.
