Two at a Time Sock Class

Three, 1.5 hour Sessions - April 22nd, 29th and May 6th

Socks are great fun to knit but can be intimidating to the uninitiated. Gusset? Turn the heel? Grafting? And then I have to do it all again to get a pair? In this class you’ll learn the toe-up method , which is easy to start and creates a beautiful sock without grafting. Magic loop replaces cumbersome double-pointed needles. Knitting both socks at once ensures that the tension is identical throughout the pair and prevents second-sock-syndrome. After this class you’ll have a cozy pair of bed socks and the ability to read any sock pattern and work your way through it.

Prior Knowledge needed: Knitting in the round, k and p
Supplies: 200 yards worsted weight yarn wound into 2 equal weight balls, Needles: 40 - 60 inch circular needle in size to get gauge, Stitch markers
